COSMETIC AESTHETIC FAQ'S

How do I prepare for my treatment?

We recommend avoiding vigorous physical activity or increased alcohol consumption for 24 hours as this increases the risk of bruising. Aspirin and Vitamin E should not be taken one week before the treatment.

Are there booking fees?

We require a $50 booking deposit per treatment.

Will this treatment hurt?

Cosmetic Aesthetic treatments can cause some discomfort depending on the person and area being treated.

Why do I need to complete a Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) screening?

Before receiving cosmetic aesthetic treatments, it's important to complete a screening for body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). This helps ensure your mental well-being and sets realistic expectations for the procedure. By identifying BDD, healthcare providers can offer support and minimise the risk of dissatisfaction or harm associated with undergoing procedures without addressing underlying psychological concerns. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities.

Is there anything I need to do after my treatment?

Correct aftercare is crucial for optimal results and your comfort. Follow any instructions provided by your healthcare provider, which may include avoiding strenuous activities, applying ice to reduce swelling, and refraining from touching or massaging the treated area. We also recommend that you remain upright for 4 hours following wrinkle treatments. It's essential to attend any follow-up appointments to monitor your progress and address any concerns. Remember, your provider is here to support you throughout your journey to achieve the best possible outcome.

Can I get treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. Your safety is our main concern and for this reason, we do not treat clients who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding. We advise against all Cosmetic Aesthetic treatments while pregnant/breastfeeding out of precaution and due to the lack of information and research available on the effect of these treatments on fetuses and young babies.

Cancellation Policy

All appointments with our Registered Nurse require a pre-paid deposit of $50.00 per treatment OR $100 per packaged treatments. This deposit is then redeemable towards your total treatment cost.

Please note: these deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited if any changes or cancellations are made within 24 hours of the appointment time.
